Join me Saturday, November 14 for my LIVE online cooking class, Apple Pie 101. We’ll make a beautiful apple pie from scratch, from flaky crust to luscious juicy filling!

When is the Apple Pie 101 Class?
Apple Pie 101 will take place on Saturday November 14th, at 3:00 pm Eastern time, and 12 noon Pacific time. Class will last for about 1 1/2 hours.

What will I learn in Apple Pie 101?
In Apple Pie 101, I’ll show you how to make a beautiful, delicious apple pie, from buttery piecrust to fragrant, juicy fresh apple pie. I’ll talk about pie pans and rolling pins, food processors and crust made by hand, types of apples to use, storing, and more.
What’s the cost and how do I register for the class?
The fee for the Apple Pie 101 class is $25. You’ll pay me via PayPal or Venmo, and when I see your payment, I’ll add you to the class. Here is my account information for each:
PayPal: paypal.me/NancieMcDermott
Venmo: @Nancie-McDermott

What’s Next after Payment for this Apple Pie 101 Class?
As soon as I receive your payment, I’ll send you my “Welcome to Apple Pie 101 Class” e-mail, with all the details. I’ll share a link which you will use to join my private Apple Pie 101 Facebook Group, just for class members.
I’ve been posting apple and baking stories there already. Once you’re registered, you can read those and check out more content I’m adding daily.

How Will I Find the Apple Pie 101 Class?
Once it’s time for Class on 11/14 at 3pmE/12noonP, I’ll go LIVE within our Group, just for you! You can watch me on that day, or watch later — or both! The class will be yours going forward, so you can keep your pie making skills in tip-top shape!

What about Recipes for Apple Pie 101?
I’ll send out an email two days before our class, with the recipes, and notes on advance preparation and equipment, so that you can be ready to cook along with me if you like. OR you can simply watch and enjoy the class, and then make your own pastry and pie later. The group will be open to you after class, too, so you can come back and watch again any time.

I love cooking and sharing what I’ve learned in cooking classes. Hope to see you in my online classes someday soon!
And Speaking of Pies and Fruit…
If you love pie, I think you’ll enjoy my classic pumpkin pie, which I adore year round and at any mean, including breakfast. Here’s my recipe, in case you too loved pumpkin pie, long before pumpkin spice became a ‘thing’! Nancie’s Table Pumpkin Pie.
If you love apples, maybe you share my love for all kinds of fruit. You might enjoy this cookbook in which I feature 12 iconic Southern fruits. Fruit; A Savor the South Cookbook from the University of North Carolina Press. No apples, because they are known and loved everywhere, not just in the South.
How about an apple video before we part?
Since I’ve gotten you focused on apples, here’s a less-than-minute mini-lesson from Better Homes & Gardens on an old school apple dessert, baked apples. I love how they use a melon baller to scoop out the core, and snip up the dried fruit which extends its flavor. Old-time baking tip!
That’s the story on my Apple Pie 101 Class, coming up Saturday November 14 at 3:00 pm Eastern/12noon Pacific. To sign up make your $25 payment to PayPal (paypal.me/NancieMcDermott) or Venmo (Nancie-McDermott) .
